A life-long student of vocal pedagogy across multiple genres, Keleren maintains a thriving, diverse private studio, as well as both an ensemble and solo performing schedule. While still in college, she began her songwriting, arranging, touring and recording career as a founding member of the a cappella trio Lotus. Shortly after forming, Lotus was signed to Aery productions, which led to a diverse touring schedule including multiple arts council, festival and NACA bookings. Since 1996, Keleren has been writing, touring and performing as a duo with her husband Michael. A veteran of over 10 recording projects, her voice has been heard by millions in ad campaigns for FOX and NBC.
Keleren’s students have had numerous lead roles in local music theater productions, have been chosen for both All State and All Northwest choirs, and have gone on to state in the WMEA solo and ensemble contest. Her students have won both gold and silver medals at Musicfest Northwest, and she has had students go on to respected schools for their bachelors degree. Local speech pathologists and mental health professionals refer clients to Keleren for her therapeutic approach to the voice, and multiple regional pop music professionals have come to her to address vocal faults. Under Keleren’s tutelage, several students have built thriving performing careers as singer-songwriters.
